Reuven Gozal, Adv.
Partner - Head of Business Development
An entrepreneur, investor, and attorney at law, that specializes in Southern and Eastern European countries. Reuven has been involved in various successful ventures over the past 8 years and been active in the Greek market since 2017.
In 2019 Reuven founded RMG Investments – a boutique advisory firm based in Athens, Greece that deals with alternative investments throughout Europe, focusing mainly on Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Hospitality, and PE deals across the region. Reuven combines multidisciplinary knowledge and experience in Corporate Finance, Corporate Law, International Tax Law, and International Accounting Standards. Prior to that, he worked in one of the largest law firms in Israel, in the technology and international M&A department. Reuven took an active role in several international transactions that amounted to more than USD 350M.
Reuven serves as a Strategic Consultant to a number of international Groups and has also recently spoken in several global conferences regarding investments, wealth management, and opportunities during crises.
Reuven speaks fluently English, French, and Hebrew.
Reuven holds an LL.B. and a B.A in Accounting from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and he is a member of the Israeli Bar Association.
Dr. Vassilis Efthymiou, CFA, MRICS, ACCA.
Partner – Head of Transactions
Vassilis leverages his multi-faceted experience in corporate finance, investment management, investment banking and asset valuation to serve clients’ capital raising efforts and transactions advisory needs across various European emerging markets. He has spent most of his career on the buy side of institutional asset management where he structured or evaluated numerous investment projects across several industries such as real estate, renewables, hospitality, healthcare, shipping, and financial services among others.
Prior to co-founding Lyra Capital Partners, Vassilis worked at Eurolife FFH Insurance (member of Fairfax Financial Holdings, a financial services conglomerate listed on Toronto Stock Exchange) as the senior investment manager of a € 3.0 billion investment portfolio of European fixed-income, equities and real asset funds. Before that, he served as a portfolio manager in European Reliance Asset Management where he managed mainly portfolios invested in securitized bonds issued by European banks and high-yield bonds issued by European corporates. Prior to that, he worked, as an Investment Banking Analyst, at the European Investment Fund (European Investment Bank Group) on the implementation of € 260 million funds of funds, which provided debt and venture capital to the entrepreneurial sectors of Greece and Cyprus.

Vassilis holds the globally recognized professional qualifications of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), Chartered Appraiser of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors® (MRICS®), Chartered Certified Accountants, UK® (ACCA®) and Professional Risk Manager® (PRM®).
He also holds a BSc in Accounting & Finance from London School of Economics (LSE) and a MSc in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), awarded with distinction. Moreover, at AUEB, he completed his doctoral studies in Corporate Finance with distinction, which were fully funded by State Scholarships Foundation of Greece. Since 2006, he has been a regular member and active volunteer of CFA Society Greece, which he has served pro bono as a board director for multiple years.
