Real Estate & Hospitality

For centuries, real estate was considered as the classical real asset investment. It offers relative stability and fixed income returns. Global commercial real estate investment reached an all-time high of US$800 billion in 2019. Across the whole of Europe (including the UK and Ireland), investment volumes totaled €315 billion in 2019.

The COVID 19 crisis, as well as the recovery from it, and the tremendous amount of liquidity in the market, may shape the future of global real estate. In some markets and sectors, prices and yields will readjust, and opportunities will arise for players who will know how to take advantage of the market conditions and adapt themselves to the new reality.

In a world of zero interest rates, the demand for quality cash flow producing assets remains strong and players such as Institutional Investors and Private Equity Funds, continue to invest in real estate around the globe.

Real estate offers a variety of sub-sectors that fit different investment criteria and risk appetite such as offices, residential, hospitality, industrial and retail. The major role of technology in our life affect the way of doing deals and offer a wider range of possibilities and opportunities.
